A Four Part series dedicated to learning about your pelvic floor and developing a home practice to care for your body. Classes will include an hour and a half practice and half hour for discussing topics and sharing information. Practice will include strengthening movements, relaxation techniques, correct breathing and postural alignment practices to support the pelvic floor. Signing up for this class also includes a 20 min individual consultation with Erika to check for imbalances that may be contributing to pelvic floor function. There will be a FB support group open to all current or past participants for questions and community support, and an option to enroll in a monthly hour long pelvic floor practice after the workshop is complete. While this class includes relaxation techniques for the pelvic floor, it is geared primarily towards strengthening and balancing the pelvic floor and the muscles around the pelvis. You can find out if you need strengthening or relaxation of the PF by seeing a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. This is recommended but not required before attending. Pre-Registration Required

-basic anatomy of the pelvis

-different methods of kegels

-how breath and posture relates to the pelvic floor

-how to check for abdominal separation

-how to strengthen the whole pelvis and surrounding musculature with movement

Restorative Reset Series, 6 classes

A series of six classes for deep rest aimed to nourish the body and mind. All restorative poses will be supported with props and suitable for most bodies and abilities. Class includes long held poses, guided meditation, hands on reiki, breath work and crystal singing bowls.

Join yoga teacher and artist, Erika Elizabeth for a long practice to decompress your nervous system and allow the body to restore, nourish and heal.  The class will begin with guided meditation and breath work and progress into gentle movement, yin poses and supported restorative postures.  Crystal Singing Bowls and Reiki are also part of the practice. This practice is suitable for all ages and bodies.  A journal can be helpful to bring to write out ideas and insights.
